Notebook BatteryInfo Suite 1.3 Beta 11 is available for download.
This version fixes a few minor issues found in the last few month.
I hope the next version will support all Windows versions in 32bit and 64 bit very soon. For the 64bit tests I need a new HDD since I don't want to delete my current PC setup.
Unfortunately the HDD prices are still extremely high and I definately do not pay more than twice of the price like the price was is September for a HDD.

Notebook BatteryInfo Suite 1.3 Beta 10 is available for download.
This version fixes a few minor issues.
The Codebase of Beta 10 is now 100% compatible to Visual Studio 2010 SP1, even if the current release is still build with Visual Studio 2008 SP1.
This Codebase is full 64bit capable and should work with all Workstation Operating Systems that are in active support by Microsoft (Windows XP SP3 and above).
I hope in one of the next releases I will hopefully support all this Operating System Versions in 32bit and 64bit.
At the moment I do not have the time to modify the Installer Script or build all parts for 64bit and do final tests.
Notebook BatteryInfo Smartbar has been discontinued a few days ago.
The reason was the lack of interest in the past 6 month. Maybe in the future when I have more time I'll give Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar a second try?

The last few days the domain batteryinfo.co.cc was not working. The reason was someone reported a phishing,
spam or malware action by the domain batteryinfo.co.cc to the co.cc registrar. They blocked the domain.

This version fixes a GDI resource leak in Notebook BatteryInfo Suite 1.3 Beta 7 and Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar 0.9 Beta 1.
This updates are recommended since all previous versions of Notebook BatteryInfo / Notebook BatteryInfo Suite and Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar are affected with this bug.

I enhanced the screenshots of Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar. Since this small tool is almost finished there will be no changes anymore.
Notebook BatteryInfo will become Notebook BatteryInfo Suite in the future.
As small version for Netbooks or low performance Notebooks Notebook BatteryInfo Smartbar will be available.
A download of Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar will be available soon. A new version of Notebook BatteryInfo Suite will also come. This version is necesary to make both tools conform to each other.

Again, this website was not available for a longer time. After the movement of the free accounts my webhoster had big trouble, therefore they must do the movement again.
Hopefully the problems will be solved now and this website will be available without problems. At the moment the domain "batteryinfo.co.cc" is not working.
I hope this will be fixed soon also.

Notebook BatteryInfo 1.3 Beta 4 is available for download.
An additional note to the busy people working for download and review sites. The version of this release is 1.3 Beta 4
not 1.3.0.195 or something like that. Therefore do not "rename" the original version number with a version number of a single Notebook BatteryInfo component.
As stated in the comment of January, the language files of older versions are not compatible anymore with Notebook BatteryInfo 1.3 Beta 4.
The language file handling is now completely different to the previous beta versions. Future versions will now be more flexible in case of
adding or deleting lanugage strings.
Since the language file structure will not be changed anymore, I'd like to ask for passing localized language files to me. I make this files available
on the download page. The build in help of Notebook BatteryInfo contains a description on how to make an own set of language files.
This version now supports embedded Task Links for both default languages to show the Task Links below the applet icon of the control panel.
For own localizations it is now possible to create own Task Link files to have the desired lanuage in the control panel also.
Notebook BatteryInfo 1.3 Beta 4 has a few small enhancements in the Taskbar Panel display options, the build in help is finished.
This version also fixes a few bugs listed in the bug section.
Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar 0.3 Beta 1 is also available for download. But please note this is an experimental software!

Yesterday there were problems with the domain "batteryinfo.co.cc" again due to server configuration problems. This issue should be fixed now.

The domain "batteryinfo.co.cc" is up and running. The movement of all settings of my account was finished yesterday.
I hope there won't be problems for the next time. In case the Domain "batteryinfo.co.cc" does not work the domain "batteryinfo.de.vu"
will redirect to the webspace directly.

This homepage was not available for about one week. The hosting service moved my account to a new server.
There are still a few problems and the domain "batteryinfo.co.cc" is currently not available.
But I hope the problems will be solved very soon.

A few weeks ago I needed a "Deskband Panel" in the Windows Taskbar. Therefore I developed a framework for the handling of "Deskband Panels" in
combination with MFC. When I had a little time I added a few controls used by Notebook BatteryInfo and the Powermanagement Framework and the
Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar was born.
 
This SmartBar is a small Shell Extension and will only use less ressources. The current distribution of Notebook BatteryInfo has a Setup of ~2MB and
needs more that 5MB HDD space. The current SmartBar will only need a little space (< 500kb) since no configuration is possible. Like Notebook BatteryInfo the
SmartBar does not use oversized Frameworks like .NET.
At the moment the Notebook BatteryInfo SmartBar is only a little experiment. I currently do not know if I will ever release this piece of Software to the public.
If I'll do it, this SmartBar could be perfect for low performance Notebooks or Netbooks with limited performance.

In the past few month this website had large traffic problems. The monthly traffic limit was reached after 10-15 days.
I found a free webspace with no forced ads and a higher monthly traffic limit. Yesterday I moved this page to the new location.
Therefore I hope this page won't be offline anymore because of traffic limitations.

Notebook BatteryInfo 1.3 Beta 3 is available for download.
This version solves a few small bugs. The Beta 3 is the next step to a stable version in a coming release version.
This version does not contain any new features or supports more operations systems.
Current plannings of the next Beta will bring a few internal changes. I'll exchange the complete language file handling. The reason is it will be easier to
make changes in the language file (add / change / delete strings without having problems with future versions since no fixed IDs will be used in the new
language files). The new language file handling will use the Microsoft XML parser more efficiant, than the current
language file handling code. The new version of the language file handling will use XPath for locating specific strings. Therefore the language XML file
format will be different to the current format.
The next step is finish the estimation of the runtime and charging time of the battery. If this part is finished Notebook BatteryInfo is 99.99% finished,
and only fine tuning is necessary.
At the moment the traffic for this page and the download is very limited.
If the download traffic for the current month is depleted than you have to wait to the next month. I will not send any files by eMail!
I hope in the next few month this situation will be better and the download traffic is not depleted after a few days.
